What they are

Cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser’s local storage) are small pieces of data that a website stores on your device. The law allows us to use, without your consent, those that are strictly necessary to provide the service you request, and requires us to tell you about them. This page explains which ones we use, what for and how long they last.

What we use

At LOVIUX we only use technical cookies and storage, which are necessary for the shop to work: your basket, your session, form security and payment. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, which is why we do not ask you to accept them.

These providers process data in accordance with their own policies: Stripe, Google, Cloudflare, hCaptcha.

Cookie-free statistics

To find out how many visits we receive and which pages are read, we use Umami, installed on our own servers. It does not set cookies or store anything on your device, does not store your IP address, does not track your activity on other websites and does not share data with anyone. It does, however, record each visit individually: from your IP address and your browser it calculates, on the spot, an identifier that changes every month, and with it records the pages you view, where you came from, what you search for in the shop, some clicks within it, your browser, operating system, device, screen and language, and the country, region and city derived from your IP address. If you buy something, it also records the order number and the amount, so those visits can be linked to your order. Your browser’s ‘Do Not Track’ setting does not switch it off; the link below does.

If you would rather we did not count your visits, turn counting off in this browser (a single flag, ‘umami.disabled’, is saved in your browser’s local storage, and only if you ask for it).

How to manage them

As they are all necessary, there is nothing to accept. You can delete or block them in your browser; if you do, the basket and payment may stop working.

Changes

If we ever use analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask you first with a notice and update this page.
