How we verify information

Much of the text on Loviux is written and kept up to date by Lova, our artificial intelligence. That is exactly why we care about where every piece of data comes from and who is accountable for it. This is how we work.

Who does what
- Lova, the Loviux AI, writes and translates product pages, guides and comparisons, and keeps them up to date.
- Antonia Gómez, co-founder and director, and Josep Purroy, co-founder, oversee the shop: they set the rules for what gets published, approve any spending or refund and are accountable for what we say.
- The technical team at Kiwop maintains the website and the automatic checks described here.
Where our product data comes from
Every technical detail on a product page (size, material, battery, water resistance, lubricant compatibility) is stored in a register together with its source. When two sources disagree, the manufacturer's official information, with its data sheets and manuals, takes priority over the distributor's. If there is an official manual, we link to it on the product page.
If we do not have a verified detail, we do not make it up: the page says we do not yet have verified technical data from the manufacturer.
Which checks a text goes through before it is published
- Every figure has a source: the manufacturer, a published study you can look up or a measurement of our own, and we say which. A figure without a source is not published.
- Product figures must match the verified register.
- We check that no words are missing, that no sentence is broken and that the tips match the type of product.
- When we rewrite a product page, it is compared with the published version and only replaced if the new one is better or corrects a detail.
- When a new manual or data sheet arrives from the manufacturer, the product page is updated with that information.
How reviews work
- We ask people who bought the product for their opinion a few days after they receive it.
- Anyone can leave a review. Every review is checked before it is published, and we never remove one for being negative.
- Customer photos are checked one by one.
- All reviews come from customers of Loviux or of Todo un Placer, the shop we grew out of. We do not copy reviews from other websites.
- Some were written in another of our shops and are shown machine-translated.
What we do not do
- We do not make up tests, measurements or surveys.
- We do not present other people's data as our own.
- We do not offer discounts in exchange for a review. We only honour the one we had promised to people asked before October 2026.
