How we choose what we sell
Loviux is a shop with a wide catalogue. We would rather give you plenty of options and the data to compare them than decide for you. Here we explain where what we sell comes from, what we check on every product and what we tell you about each material.

Where the catalogue comes from
- We buy from the brands and their official distributors in Europe. We do not buy job lots or from marketplace sellers.
- You can only buy what is available. Stock is updated every day.
- When a manufacturer stops making a product, we remove it. We also remove anything left without photos.
What we check on every product
- Material, size, battery and water resistance come from the manufacturer's official information and are stored with their source.
- If we do not have a verified detail, the product page says so. We do not fill in gaps.
- We do not claim any health effects for any product. A toy is not a medical device.
Materials: what we sell and what we recommend
Silicone, ABS plastic, glass and steel are non-porous. They clean well and are the ones we recommend for internal use.
We also sell products made of TPE, TPR and PVC. These are softer, cheaper materials, common in masturbators and realistic dildos, but they are porous: they cannot be sterilised, they wear out sooner and need more care. They must be washed after every use, dried completely and used with a condom if shared.
In the European Union, the REACH regulation has limited four phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP and DIBP) to 0.1% in the plasticised materials of articles on sale since July 2020. We do not run laboratory tests: we rely on what the manufacturer declares.
Who is accountable
- Antonia Gómez, founder of Loviux, has advised customers since 2009. She signs the tips on the product pages and reviews the guides. Only what she has read and approved is published under her name.
- Lova, the Loviux AI, keeps the product pages and data up to date, with human oversight.
Warranty and returns
All products come with the legal guarantee set by the law of your country: at least two years in the EU; in the UK, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The deadline and conditions for returning an order are in the returns policy.
What we do not do
- We do not say we have tested a product if we have not tested it.
- We do not hide a product's material because it is worse than another.
- We do not copy reviews from other websites.
If you are missing a detail
Write to us at info@loviux.co.uk with the link to the product and what you need to know. If the manufacturer publishes it, we add it to the product page.
