Our usage tips
How to use the KINK Masked Allure Model 3
- Agree beforehand on what you're going to do, and on a word or signal to stop.
- Place the eye mask over the eyes and fasten it without pulling it tight: it shouldn't press on the eyelids or the bridge of the nose.
- Check in with the other person every so often and tell them before each new thing, especially if they can't see.
- Take it off carefully when you've finished, without pulling on the lace, and store it away from fasteners, Velcro and sharp-edged objects, which can snag it.
Cleaning
Our tip for a lace piece: wipe it with a barely damp cloth, without rubbing, and leave it to air dry, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Don't put it in the washing machine or the tumble dryer.
Our tips
- Respect the stop word or signal straight away, without asking for explanations.
- Never leave alone a person who can't see or who is tied up.
- If you combine it with restraints or a gag, keep an eye on circulation and breathing and have a way to release them quickly to hand.
- Someone who can't see loses their bearings: clear the space of furniture with corners and of objects on the floor, and don't make them walk without guiding them.
- Take it off if it feels tight, rubs or irritates the skin or eyes.
- If you share it, clean it before another person uses it.
