Description
Condomerie Mermaid is a decorative latex condom with a mermaid motif. Each one is made by dipping and painted by hand.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
If you like the mermaid motif and hand-painted finish, this model has both.
This isn't suitable for you if you need a condom for protection during sex.
How to use it and look after it
- It is not a contraceptive and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
- Contains latex: do not use it if you are allergic to latex.
- Oils and oil-based lubricants damage latex.
Compatibility
- Condoms: It's a decorative model and isn't a substitute for a condom designed for protection.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Check the expiry date and keep them away from heat; in a wallet, friction wears them out.
- Open the wrapper with your fingers, never with scissors or your teeth, so you don't tear it.
- Pinch the tip as you put it on so no air is trapped, and roll it all the way down to the base on the erect penis.
- Use a new one every time you have sex and don't wear two at once: friction between them can make them tear.
- With latex condoms, no oils or oil-based lubes: they damage latex.
How it differs
- Condomerie Father: Condomerie Mermaid has a mermaid motif, while Condomerie Father has an Amsterdam-style Bohemian art design: choose the first for the mermaid or the second for the Bohemian motif.
Our verdict
Choose this for its design and hand-painted finish, not for use as a protective condom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it protect you during sex?
No. You need a condom designed for protection, not this decorative model.
Can you buy it if you're allergic to latex?
No: it contains latex and may cause an allergic reaction.
How should you store it if you want to keep it?
It's a hand-painted latex piece; as a general rule for condoms, keep it away from heat and avoid carrying it in your wallet, where it could rub.
Before first use, read the manufacturer's instructions that come with the product: they are the reference for its use, cleaning and safety.
