What the science says
What the science says about lubricant in anal sex
The studies we cite did not test this butt plug. What has been studied is the use of lubricant in anal sex.
Over 5 weeks, using a water-based lubricant was associated with more pleasure and satisfaction in anal sex than using no lubricant. The study looks at anal sex with a penis, not butt plugs.
