Glyde Ultra Maxi Vegan: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who Glyde Ultra Maxi Vegan condoms are for
It suits you if…
- You need a large size because regular condoms feel too tight.
- You're looking for vegan condoms.
- You want a large box so you don't have to restock so often.
- You prefer a condom with no added colour or flavour.
Better look elsewhere if…
- Regular condoms fit you well. These have a nominal width of 56 mm and could slip off if they're too loose.
- You want coloured or flavoured condoms. These have a natural colour and no flavour.
Step by step
How to use Glyde Ultra Maxi Vegan condoms
- Check the expiry date on the wrapper before use.
- Open the wrapper with your fingers, without using scissors, teeth or long nails that could tear the condom.
- Pinch the tip to remove air from the reservoir and roll the condom down to the base of your erect penis before any contact.
- When you've finished, hold it at the base as you withdraw your penis, before you lose your erection.
After use
Single use only: do not wash or reuse. Store the box in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Our advice
- Do not use if you or your partner have a latex allergy.
- Do not use oil-based lubricants, petroleum jelly, massage oils or creams.
- Use a new condom every time you have sex and whenever you switch between activities, for example from anal to vaginal sex.
- Do not wear two condoms at once.
- If it breaks or slips off, stop and put on a new one.
- Stop using if you notice any irritation.

What the science says
What research says about condom size
The studies we cite did not test these condoms. They looked at condom use, specifically how fit affects it.
Among those who had used an external condom in the past year, problems with fit, slipping and other errors during use were associated with condom breakage. That's why it helps to choose the right size for you.
