Satisfyer Trendsetter: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the Satisfyer Trendsetter is for and who it isn't
It suits you if…
- You want a vibrating butt plug that you can control from your phone.
- You want a toy you can use in the shower or bath, because it is fully waterproof (submersible).
- You prefer to change mode with the controls on the plug itself, without relying on the app.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You want a toy with a heat function. Take a look at the Satisfyer Heat Climax with heat function.
- You want a butt plug with rotation and a separate remote. Take a look at the Anbiguo Amadeus with remote control and rotation.
Step by step
How to use the Satisfyer Trendsetter
- Apply water-based lubricant to the plug.
- Start on the lowest intensity and turn it up gradually until you find the one that feels most comfortable.
- Change mode with the controls on the product while you use it.
- If you want more options, connect it to the Satisfyer Connect app for more control and personalisation.
Cleaning
Wash it before and after every use with warm water and a mild soap, or with a toy cleaner. Rinse it well and let it dry completely before you put it away. As it is fully waterproof (submersible, IPX7), you can wash it under the tap.
Our tips
- As with any butt plug, the base always stays outside the body: don't insert it any further.
- Insert it slowly and use plenty of lubricant. If it hurts, stop and take it out gently.
- Don't move it from the anus to the vagina without washing it first.
- If you use it with a latex condom, don't use oils or oil-based lubricants: they damage latex.
- Avoid silicone lubricants: as a general rule, they can damage the surface of a silicone toy.

Questions
Satisfyer Trendsetter: frequently asked questions
Is the Satisfyer Trendsetter good for starting out with a butt plug?
It depends on its size, and we don't have that information: we haven't confirmed the length, the maximum width or how much goes in. In a first butt plug, width and firmness matter most. What we do know is that it's made of silicone and that the vibration starts at the lowest intensity. If you're a beginner, go slowly, use plenty of water-based lubricant, and stop if it hurts.
Is the Satisfyer Trendsetter fully waterproof (submersible)?
Yes. It has IPX7 water resistance, so it can be submerged: you can use it in the shower or the bath and wash it under the tap.
Which lubricant suits the Satisfyer Trendsetter?
A water-based one, which is what the product information recommends and what suits silicone. As a general rule, silicone lubricants can damage the surface of a silicone toy. And if you use a latex condom, don't use oils.
Can you control the Satisfyer Trendsetter from your phone?
Yes. With the Satisfyer Connect app you get more control and personalisation options. You can also change programme using the controls on the plug itself.
How many vibration modes does the Satisfyer Trendsetter have?
12 vibration programmes. A whisper mode is also advertised; we haven't confirmed what it involves.
How long does the Satisfyer Trendsetter's battery last?
It has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. We haven't confirmed the battery life, the charging time or the type of cable.
How do you clean the Satisfyer Trendsetter?
With warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner, before and after every use. Rinse it well and let it dry completely before you put it away.
What is the Satisfyer Trendsetter made of, and what colours does it come in?
It's made of silicone, which the product description presents as soft; we haven't confirmed how firm it is. It comes in Green and Black, with the same features in both colours.
