Secret Play Fantasy Play is an erotic board game for two: you win by being the first to find the fantasy card your partner has hidden. The board has 9 themed rooms and the game is set in the 18th century. You’ll answer questions, complete challenges and earn credits to exchange for items of your partner’s clothing. The box includes the board, 2 playing pieces, 2 dice, 80 question cards, 80 challenge cards, 18 fantasy cards and 80 credit tokens. You also get a silk tie, a vibrator, a feather and an hourglass.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

If you’d like to each write down a fantasy and search for your partner’s as you move around the board, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing. There are 15 cards for each room: massage, oral sex, toys, BDSM, kissing, Kamasutra positions, anal sex, voyeurism and surprise.

This isn’t a group game: it’s designed for a couple and comes with 2 playing pieces.

How to use it and look after it

1. Shuffle the cards and put each deck in its place on the board; set the question cards, challenge cards and credits to one side.
2. Each write your fantasy on a black card and hide it among the cards in one of the 9 rooms.
3. Both roll the die: whoever gets the higher score starts at Start. If you tie, the first to take off an item of clothing goes first.
4. On each turn, roll the die and move your playing piece the number of spaces shown. You can move diagonally too.
5. If you land on a white space, take a break and miss your turn; on a purple space, draw the top challenge card and complete it.
6. On a fuchsia space, let your partner read you a question: answer correctly to win a credit.
7. Some challenges earn you credits and others cost you credits. You can exchange 2 credits for an item of your partner’s clothing or, on the grey space in the Bar, for a drink.
8. You need an exact score to enter a room. Complete its tasks until you find the hidden fantasy; to return to a room you’ve just visited, leave it first and then enter again.
9. When a card is marked XXX, use the hourglass to time the indicated task for 60 seconds.
