This is the mini version of Joydivision's Soft-Tampons. Each tampon is a 2 g sponge that is already its final size and doesn't expand. You squeeze it to insert it, it sits in front of the cervix, and you can use it with a condom.

Step by step
How to use the Soft-Tampons Mini 50 pcs
- Wash your hands before taking the tampon out of its wrapper.
- Moisten it with a little lubricant, such as AQUAglide, or with clean water, and squeeze it out well so it absorbs as much as possible.
- Stand over the toilet with one leg raised, for example on a chair. It's easier this way.
- Squeeze it with your index finger over the dip in the tampon and your thumb and middle finger on the sides, so the tab forms.
- Push it in with your fingers until it touches the cervix. It is in the right place when you can't feel it.
- To take it out, squat down, hook the tab with your index or middle finger and pull. If you can't find it, pinch with the two fingers.
After use
Don't wash it: each tampon is single-use and goes in the bin afterwards. If one changes colour from light or air, you can still use it.
Manufacturer's warnings
- Don't wear it for more than 8 hours: 3 to 5 hours on heavier flow days and 5 to 8 on lighter ones.
- Avoid using it at night.
- Change it after sex, and straight away if it was without a condom.
- It is not a contraceptive: it doesn't kill sperm.
- If you have an IUD with a string, talk to your gynaecologist first. With light spotting, the string can stick to the tampon and come out with it.
- After giving birth, wait at least 6 weeks.
- If you can't get it out, see your gynaecologist. In rare cases it ends up behind the cervix.
- Use each tampon only once.
