Step by step
How to use the Joydivision Soft-Tampons normal
- Wash your hands before taking it out of the wrapper.
- Moisten it if you like, with a little lubricant (the manufacturer gives AQUAglide as an example) or with clean water. If you use water, squeeze it out well so it absorbs as much as possible.
- Get comfortable on the toilet with one leg raised, for example on a chair.
- Squeeze the tampon with your thumb and middle finger on the sides and your index finger in the hollow, so the tab forms.
- Push it in with your finger until it touches the cervix. It is in the right place when you can no longer feel it.
- To remove it, squat or sit on the toilet with your legs apart, bear down a little and pull the tab with your index or middle finger. If you cannot find it, pinch with both fingers.
After use
Do not wash it: each tampon is used once and thrown away with general waste. If they are left in the light they may change colour, and according to the manufacturer they can still be used.

- Do not wear it for more than 8 hours. With a heavy flow, change it every 3 to 5 hours, and with a light flow, every 5 to 8 hours.
- Change it right after sex, and straight away if it was without a condom.
