The essentials
Secret Play Chocaddict: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who Secret Play Chocaddict is for, and who it isn't for
It suits you if…
- You want a game of dares to play as a couple, with points and a winner.
- You want dares of different intensities in the same game.
- You like the idea of chocolate being part of the game.
- You prefer a card-only game, with no board or dice.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You want the dares to build up from mild to intense. The cards are drawn at random, so the three intensities come up mixed together.
- You don't fancy getting covered in chocolate. It's the winner's prize.
- You're looking for a game for a group. This one is designed for two people.
Step by step
How to play Secret Play Chocaddict
- Shuffle the 40 cards and leave them in a face-down pile.
- Call heads or tails and toss a coin to decide who goes first.
- Draw a card at random and read the dare out loud.

Cleaning
Remove any chocolate from your skin with lukewarm water and mild soap, and keep the cards away from the chocolate so they don't get stained.

- The manufacturer doesn't publish the ingredients of the chocolate pen. If you have any allergy or intolerance, check its label before using it.

What the science says
What science says about speaking clearly as a couple
The studies we cite did not test this game. What has been studied is something worth looking after when you play it: making clear what each of you wants.
