The essentials
Durex Natural Plus 12 pack: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who Durex Natural Plus condoms, 12 pack, are for and who they are not for
It suits you if…
- You want a classic regular size condom, with a nominal width of 56 mm.
- You want one that comes lubricated and is easy to put on.
- You prefer a smooth feel and medium thickness, with no texture.
- You use lubricants recommended for use with condoms, not oil-based ones.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You are allergic to latex. They are made of natural rubber latex.
- Regular size condoms feel tight on you. Durex has an extra large 60 mm size, the Natural XL.
- You want a thin condom. These are medium thickness.
- You use oil-based lubricants or oils. They can damage the condom.
Step by step
How to use Durex Natural Plus condoms, 12 pack
- Open the wrapper with your fingers, not with scissors or teeth, so you don't damage the condom.
- Put it on before any contact, when the penis is erect and with the rolled side facing outwards.
- Pinch the teat end to squeeze out the air and roll it down to the base.
- For anal sex, add lubricant on the outside of the condom, even though it comes lubricated.
- When you finish, hold it at the base as you withdraw before the erection goes down.
After use
It is not cleaned, because it is single use. Wrap it in tissue and put it in the bin, never down the toilet.
Manufacturer's warnings
- They are made of natural rubber latex, which can cause allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock, in people who are allergic to latex.
- Stop using it if you notice discomfort or irritation.
- Use each condom only once. Reusing it increases the risk of breakage and infections.
- If you use one first for oral sex, put on a new one for any other activity.
- Only use lubricants recommended for use with condoms. Oil-based ones (petroleum jelly, baby oil, some vaginal pessaries) and other medicines applied to the penis or vagina can damage them.
- Keep them out of the reach of children, as there is a risk of suffocation.
